Paul Revere House

The Paul Revere House was a residence in Boston and the home of Paul Revere during the American Revolutionary War.
Built in 1680, Paul Revere lived in the house with his family from 1770 to 1800. On ocassions when he left to participate in the revolutionary war, Paul left the house under the care of his eldest son, who prevented the house form being chopped down for firewood.[1]
In the early 20th century, the building was bought by Paul's great-grandson John P. Reynolds Jr bought the house in 1905 and converted it into a museum. Today, it is now the oldest building in the city.[1]
