Patience handing over her charm

Patience Gibbs' "charm" was a mysterious heirloom owned by Patience Gibbs' family, having been passed down from mother to daughter. It was said to give the user "strength and foresight".

History

The charm was passed down Patience Gibbs' family from mother to daughter for at least two generations before it fell into her hands.

In 1784, the charm became the object of Templar doctor, Edmund Judge's desire. He ordered his troops to capture Patience and imprison her in a fort. Held at gunpoint, Patience had no choice but to give part of the artifact to him.

Later on, with the aid of the Assassin Aveline de Grandpré, Patience recovered it from Edmund.

Powers and capabilities

The charm allowed the user to "see into all things" for a few seconds into the future, allowing them to avoid danger or escape troubles. This was demonstrated when Patience used the artifact to predict and complete Aveline's sentences before she finished them.
