The Palazzo Ducale is a location in Assassin's Creed II located within Venice. It is where the Doge of Venice resides. Initially, Giovanni Mocenigo is the Doge, but following his death at the hands of Carlo Grimaldi, the new Doge became Marco Barbarigo. However, he was soon replaced by his brother Agostino Barbarigo after he was assassinated by Ezio during Carnevale, the only time he left the formidable Palazzo. Ezio can only access this area once in the entire game using the Flying Machine.
