The Paladin Hood was a cloak that jarlskona Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan retrieved in late 9th century West Francia. Alongside the Paladin Hood, Eivor claimed the rest of its set from her travels in Francia.

During her time in Francia, Eivor ventured into the settlement of Lisieux, in Melunois. Eivor probed the area and noticed a crypt, but it was locked. Opening the door, Eivor looked around the crypt and noticed a hole behind a Bellatores Dei banner. Going through the hole, Eivor found another locked door. Unlocking it, she entered the room and found a chest, left of a headless victim, probably of "deliverance." She opened the chest and garnered the Paladin Hood.[1]
