The Palace of Apries was a royal palace constructed by Apries, a pharaoh of the Twenty-sixth Dynasty of Egypt, located in Memphis. It was located directly across the Great Temple of Ptah and temporarily served as Cleopatra's residence during her brief stay in Memphis.
History
In 48 BCE, shortly after discovering the identity of the Lizard, the Medjay, Bayek, and his wife, Aya, travelled to the palace to inform Cleopatra of the Lizard's identity. Upon the revelation of the Lizard's identity as a priest of Ptah, the High Priest of Ptah, Pasherenptah, revealed him to be Hetepi, who was one of his closest advisors. Pasherenptah later gave Bayek his blessings, before the Medjay travelled to the temple to assassinate him and end the curse plaguing Memphis once and for all.
