Anne de Molay was a French woman living in Paris during the French Revolution, and a distant descendant of Templar Grand Master Jacques de Molay.

During the Revolution, Anne discovered that the descendants of three of her ancestor's interrogators had, over the centuries, changed names and continued to reside in Paris. After one such descendant, Bertrand Grimany, published a newspaper article revealing his linage, Anne located and murdered him. Shortly thereafter, she did the same to Paul Teragon, another inquisitor's descendant, and attempted to murder a third man, Misiour de Prasi. However, de Prasi managed to fend off the attack, causing Anne to flee.

Shortly after the murders, the Assassin Arno Dorian investigated the crimes and was able to bring Anne to justice, turning her over to Police Minister Charles Cochon de Lapparent.
