Othswith was an Anglo-Saxon who served as reeve of Grantebridgescire during the 9th century.

In 873, a criminal by the name of Egil the Fornicating Crow had broken several laws across England by stealing food and murdering several innocent Norsefolk who had hoped to trade him with. As a result, he was declared a wanted criminal under Dane law and under the rule of both King Aelfred of Wessex and King Burgred of Mercia. Othswith thus placed a number of posters around Grantebridge with details surrounding Egil's crimes.[1]
