Orion was a Greek pankratist who participated in the pankration event in the 428 BCE Olympic Games in Olympia in Elis.
In the first round of the event, Orion faced the misthios Kassandra, who replaced her fellow Spartan Testikles. Orion was ultimately by Kassandra, losing the fight.[1]
Trivia
- Orion shares his name with one of the sons of the god Poseidon, who after his death was changed into a constellation.
