Okonhsà:ke

Okonhsà:ke was a mountain top, north of the village of Kahrhakén:rat, in Vinland.

History

In the 870s, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan discovered the location and synchronized the viewpoint at this mountain top.[1] West of Okonhsà:ke, Eivor heard a noise from a fellow Norse woman, who was shouting remarks aloud, and went to investigate the commotion.[2]
