The Octavius was a naval ship commanded by Hendrick van der Heul , the Octavius became stuck in the ice while looking for the Northwest Passage .

The Assassin Ratonhnhake:ton stumbled upon the Octavius while looking for a peice of Captain Kidd's Map, the Octavius sunk when Ratonhnhake:ton discovered and looted it.
