Oaken Kite Shield
The Oaken Kite Shield was a type of heavy oaken shield used in England during the 9th century.
During her travels, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan acquired this shield from a chest at Maeldun, Essexe.[1]
