Nimue
Nimue was a warrior, skilled with a sword and great in stealth, hailing from the islands north of Caledonia. Circa 878, the Hidden Ones sent Nimue a message, inviting her to join their ranks, though this message was intercepted by Avalon before Nimue could receive it. Nimue's invitation was given to Niamh of Argyll, who posed as Nimue in order to infiltrate the Hidden Ones and to learn about their motives.[1] After a period of time, Niamh reveals to both Valka[2] and Hytham that Nimue never received the letter as the Women of the Mist asked Niamh to take her place.[3]
