New York City is a city in the United States of America.

In the American Revolutionary War, the Assassin Connor frequently traveled here in his search to stop the Templars.

Later on, in 2003, the Assassin Desmond Miles fled from the Farm, which was the Assassin hideout that he had grown up in. Making his way to New York and living there for 9 years, Desmond worked as a bartender at a successful nightclub called Bad Weather.
