Neufchâteau is a commune in the Vosges department in Grand Est in northeastern France.

History

In May 1428, during the midst of the Hundred Years' War, residents of Domrémy fled to Neufchâteau from invading soldiers from the House of Plantagenet allied with rulers of England.[1]
