Neema was the daughter of Darius, the assassin of Xerxes I of Persia, who lived during the 5th century BCE.
Neema's father failed in his attempt to assasinate King Artaxerxes I of Persia sometime after 465 BCE. As consequence, Neema and her family were branded as traitors and were forced to Persia while being pursued by the Order of the Ancients. Neema, her mother and siblings were later killed, with the exception of Natakas and Darius who fled to Greece. Natakas would later create a small memorial for her outside his hideout in Makedonia.[1]
