Nazir (unknown - 1190) was a guard in Tyre during the High Middle Ages.

In 1190, when the Assassin Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, was on the city rooftops, he came across three guards, one of whom told Nazir, an archer, to kill the Assassin. However, Altaïr overpowered the guards and killed all of them.

Trivia

  • Nazir is a transliteration of the Hebrew word meaning "consecrated." It may also be a variant of the Arabic name Nasir, meaning "helper."
