Nakhshab

Nakhshab, later known as Nasaf, and in modern times as Qarshi, is a city in southern Uzbekistan. By the mid-8th century, a member of the Hidden Ones of the Great Desert hailed from the region. In 751, a Sogdian Hidden One brother of his later introduced him with the city he hailed from to Li E, a lone Tang military survivor of the Battle of Talas.
