"Saint Mael Dub left us his reliquaries full of the great words."
―A sheet describing Saint Máel Dub.[src]

Máel Dub (died 675) was an Irish monk who lived during the 7th century, said to have founded a monastic house at Malmesbury, England.

Revered as a saint after his death, Máel Dub was said to have inspired fellow scholars Bede and Wilfrid. Together, their teachings were preserved at the Malmesbury and Readingum Abbey.[1]
