Murex Fort was a fort in Aphrodite's Watch on Kythera Island, Greece. Located between the Murex Dyeing Facility and Temple of Aphrodite, it was build to protect the region and was occupied by a sizeable military force.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.
