A machine developed by Abstergo Industries. It is used to reanimate genetic memory into a simulation. The user must synchronize properly to allow the memory to be simulated.

The word Animus is latin for: Courage, Vivacity, Bravery, Will, Spirit, Soul, Charcater, Intellect, Memory, and Consciousness.
