Muiredach's burial site

Muiredach mac Eógain (died c. 489) was a King of Aileach who reigned from 465 until his death in 489. He was the son of Eógan mac Néill, a son of Niall of the Nine Hostages, and the head of the Cenél nEógain branch of the northern Uí Néill.

After dying in his sleep, Muiredach was buried in a dolmen north of what is now Dublin, along with one of The Sons of Niall figurines inherited from his father.[1]
