They call me many things: Murderer. Cutthroat. Thief. But you may call me Mordred (Descendant).

The man known as Mordred was a 9th century descendant of Mordred, alleged illegitimate son of King Arthur Pendragon and the Lady of Avalon.[1] After taking his ancestor's name as his own, he founded the Descendants of the Round Table.

Biography

Under his rule, the Descendants of the Round Table's main goal was to obtain and utilize his ancestor's sword Excalibur as a means to control and rule all of England. Foes to the Women of the Mist, Mordred and his descendants fought them heavily, especially trying to invade their land of Avalon, nearly burning it down in their last attempt.[2] Around 878, Mordred and his Descendants formed an uneasy alliance with the Order of the Ancients in order to reclaim Excalibur.[3] Through the efforts of a witch-warrior of Avalon, Niamh of Argyll, the Hidden One Hytham and the Raven Clan seeress Valka, Excalibur was seemingly destroyed. Without a clear goal to strive towards anymore, the organization crumbled.[4]
