The Monument of Melissa

The Monument of Melissa was the memorial shrine erected for the wife of Periander, the tyrant of Korinth, in Hera's Watch in Argolis, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War the Spartan misthios Kassandra visited the shrine-memorial.[1]
