Similar to its predecessor, Assassin's Creed: Revelations features a multiplayer mode, which features a variety of multiplayer personas for the player to choose between and the option to create their own character with customized appearance and weapons. Like Brotherhood, many multiplayer characters will be featured in the main storyline. However, multiplayer characters play a bigger part then in Brotherhood, and in some cases, characters may actually need to be fought, found, or assassinated in the single-player game in order to unlock them for use in multiplayer.

Characters

• Guardian - An estranged cousin of a distant Sultan, he calls himself the "Guardian of Truth", following the Templars' ideology. He wields a spear.
• Vanguard - A Cossack who is manipulated by the Templars with promises of wealth and power into joining them in defeating the Ottomans. She use's is a hachet lick weapon.
• Sentinel - An ex-Assassin that joined the Templars after the former made peace with the Ottomans. He wields a Katara.
• Bombardier - A member of an anti-Ottoman rebel group that has close ties to the Templars, all the while portraying himself as a member of the Ottoman artillery corps. His weapon is currently unknown.
• Ottoman Jester - a character with unknown history, will appear in Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed Revelations
• Crusader -a character with unknown history, will appear in Collector's Edition of Assassin's Creed Revelations
