Mobare was a bandit in Egypt whose gang established a base in the Necropolis that lain in the desert west of Yamu. There, the leader of Mobare's gang stashed a collection of Books of the Dead he had robbed from innocent people such as the elderly Yamu man Beka. In 48 BCE, Mobare received a letter from his boss detailing this and ordering him to track down each of the owners of the Books to demand ransom for their return. This was not to be, however, for Beka had enlisted the aid of the Medjay Bayek. In short order, Bayek killed all the bandits at the hideout and recovered the books.

Trivia

  • Mobare is the recipient of a letter the player character can find inside the Necropolis Bandit Hideout. As Mobare is a bandit affiliated with the hideout's gang, he could be one of the ones the player encounters there and kills. Alternatively, none of those bandits is Mobare, meaning that he is only mentioned in the game and never actually makes an appearance.
