Mitsue

Mitsue is a town south of Asuka Rocks in Yamato, Japan.

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke visited the town after hearing a rumor from Kojiro of the Tsutsui envoys passing through the town. When they talked with the locals, they came across Kojiro within one of the huts besides a drunk Akiyama brute. Within a moment, the brute thought to be insulted by them and challenged them, but ultimately lost.^[1]

Soon, out of hiding, Akiyama Ayako introduced herself and told the locals nearby to leave. When Naoe and Yasuke interrogated the brute, they learned a masked figure instructed to kidnap the envoys before Ayako knocked him unconscious. Asking them to help, Ayako told them to meet her at Kasuga-taisha when they recovered the envoys.^[1]
