Mercenaries are one of the 3 factions that help Ezio, Thieves, courtesans (prostitutes) and the mercenaries. The idea of hiring mercenaries is to help you in battle, fighting your enemies. The Mercenaries are much like the brutes,as they have heavy weapons such as battle axes and claymores.
