Mary Jane Kelly (1863 – 9 November 1888) was a prostitute during the Victorian era who is most well known for being the supposed final murder victim of the infamous serial killer Jack the Ripper. Evie Frye, coming back into London after saving Jack's prisoners, comes upon the murder scene and is disgusted and angered by what Jack had done, promising Inspector Frederick Abberline once she had calmed down that she would find the Ripper for the murder, soon discovering through the use of Eagle Vision that Jack had left a message for her in Mary's room.

Trivia

  • In the DLC Mary's body is covered up, as opposed to real life where the body could be seen. This was probably done in respect to Mary and in good taste, as Evie's reaction shows to the body of screen, the injuries and mutilations done to Mary by Jack were and still are shocking to see to this day, and could have upset people had Ubisoft shown the body in full detail.
