Madeline, Countess Blücher
Madeline, Countess Blücher[1] (née Dallas; 1803 – 1870) was a lady-in-waiting to Queen Augusta of Prussia and a close friend of Queen Victoria.
Biography
In April 1865, through Royal correspondence with Her Majesty, upon discussing the betrothal of the Queen's third daughter, Helena, the Countess remarked that she was most favorable to the option of Prince Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. Together they thought of ways about how to seemingly bring the two together naturally.[2]
