Lucid Memory Fragments
Lucid Memory Fragments were collectible items found by Ratonhnhaké:ton in an alternate reality created by the Apple of Eden.
Collecting memory fragments confirmed Ratonhnhaké:ton's suspicion that the events he was experiencing, in which George Washington became a tyrannical king, were not the original universe of events he was from.
Furthermore, collection of all fragments restored Ratonhnhaké:ton's memory of the event leading to the alternate timeline. Which is this: Connor was out camping one night, most likely after the war, when Washington confronts him saying that he is disturbed by the dreams that come from an Apple of Eden, that he found at the end of the Siege of Yorktown. Connor goes to take it from him, but when he touches it, both are transported into the reality that Washington was talking about. Connor gets to the Apple, which is the source of Washington's power, in the alternate reality and the Apple in the original reality gives off a bright flash, which both are knocked down by. Washington then demands that Connor sinks the Apple into the ocean.
