Biography
Louis-Michel le Peletier, Marquis de Saint-Fargeau was a French politician who sat in the National Convention, and was a member of the Templar Order. Early in the French Revolution, he called for the abolishment of the death penalty, but in 1793 he was the deciding 361st vote in the execution trial for King Louis XVI of France. Francois-Thomas Germain, the Templar Grand Master, was pleased with his decision, and told him that he would look forward to the end of tyranny.
However, the Assassin Arno Dorian assassinated him in Tuileries the day before the execution of the King. He found out about how Marie Levesque's plot to steal bread tied up with the plot to execute the king, as the king had to look like a villainous criminal before being killed.
