Leda was a queen of Sparta, and the mother of Helen of Troy, Klytaimnestra, and Kastor and Polydeukes in Greek tradition.

Legacy and influence

During the Peloponnesian War, Athenian spies sought the help of mercenaries by using stories of Zeus' dalliances. One of those used featured Leda's story.

In 2012 Clay Kaczmarek included Leda in a set of puzzles he'd hidden within the Animus for his follower to find. In Clay's puzzle it was suggested that Leda's story was one of those in which "the seeds were planted as two worlds became one."
