La Volpe's Bite was a sword obtainable by the Assassin Ezio Auditore in the Italian city of Rome.
Description
After completing all of the challenges set by the Thieves Guild, the blade could be found in the weapon room of the Tiber Island Hideout. The weapon was named after La Volpe, the head of the Guild.[1]

La Volpe's Bite had the highest possible values for Speed and Deflection, making it one of the best one-handed weapons available.[1]
Trivia
- The sword is modelled on the European longsword that is traditionally used with two hands.
- La Volpe's Bite is identical to Bouchart's Blade from Assassin's Creed II (which may be unlocked by linking a saved game with Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines).
- It makes an appearance in Assassin's Creed: Revelations as the French Bastard Sword with the statistics of Damage-3, Speed-4, and Deflect-3.
- Notably, the sword is featured as a heavy weapon, instead of a single-handed sword.
