Kuroda Village was a village west of Kashiwara Village in Iga, Japan.
History
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke visited the village after receiving a lead from Shōtei about his former wayward students, the Godai Shinobi, causing terror across Japan. There, they met with a local blacksmith who was arguing with a soldier earlier about housing a criminal. Meeting with him, they learned that his new apprentice was located up the hill from the village. With this information, they left to confront the apprentice.[1]
