Kunimiyama Fort was a fortress in southern Mibuno Vale in Iga, Japan.
History
In November 1579, the Master Assassin Momochi Sandayu instructed the young shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe to investifate the fortress' watchtowers, as he had not heard back from his fellow shinobi scouts. At the fortress, Naoe discovered that Oda clan soldiers had taken over the fortress and killed the shinobi there. Quietly leaving the fortress, she later informed Sandayu, who thanked her for her work.[1] Three years later, Naoe returned to the fortress as a Kakushiba ikki member with the league's samurai Yasuke. Together, they infiltrated the fortress, killed its samurai daisho, and retrieved the Swift Shinobi Hood from the fortress' treasure chest.[2]
