Kunimiyama Fort
Kunimiyama Fort was a fortress in southern Mibuno Vale in Iga, Japan.
History
In November 1579, the young shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe was instructed to go to the fortress' watchtowers by Momochi Sandayu. Sandayu informed her that he has not heard from his fellow shinobi and wanted her to investigate. At the fortress, Naoe discovered that a separate pack of Oda soldiers took over the fortress and killed the shinobi there. Leaving the fortress secretly, she later informed Sandayu, who thanked her for her work.[1]
In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Naoe and Yasuke infiltrated the fortress, killed its samurai daisho, and retrieved the Swift Shinobi Hood from the fortress' chest.[2]
