Krotoniate Tripod

The Krotoniate Tripod was a tripod situated next to the Apollo of Salamina in Delphi in Phokis, Greece.

It was dedicated by the Greek polis Croton after their victory over the fellow polis Sybaris in southern Italy. The tripod also served as the emblem of the coinage of Croton.[1]

During the Peloponnesian War, the tripod was visited by the Spartan misthios, Kassandra.[1]
