A stationary and unactivated kolossi

The Kolossus (pl. Kolossi) was a seemingly inert guardian statue, many of which were found all over simulation of Elysium. They responded to bloodshed, and would attack those who entered open combat within their vicinity. These statues were distinguished from each other by their designation Dory and their serial number.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra found several of these statues during her travels through the simulation of Elysium.[1]

Trivia

  • Trespassing and assassinating an enemy near Kolossi does not trigger the activation. Destroying a Torch of Hypnos near an inert Kolossus damages them, but doesn't trigger their activation either.
    • Since Patch 1.3.0 Kolossi cannot be damaged anymore by destroying Torches of Hypnos.
  • The name of the creatures is Greek for '(large) statue', and is the source for the English word colossal.
