Klytaimnestra was wife of king Agamemnon and thus the queen of Mycenae in Greek mythology. She was also the mother of Iphigenia of Orestes.
Klytaimnestra bore a battleaxe which she later passed on to her daughter, and which eventually was claimed by the misthios Kassandra after she'd slain Iphigenia within her compound in Elysium. [1]
