King Aescwine's Tomb

King Aescwine's Tomb was a burial mound in the south of Essex, England which served as the final resting place of King Æscwine of Wessex.

During the 870s, the tomb was explored by the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir.[1]
