Jupiter, previously known as Tinia, was a member of the First Civilization. He was mentioned by Minerva during her warning to Desmond Miles.

Jupiter, in Roman Mythology, was also the Grandfather of Romulus and Remus (the cult of Romulus being a prominent part of Assassins Creed: Brotherhood), as well as Husband of Juno and father or Minerva.
