Jubair al Hakim

One of the nine people Al Mualim wants Altair to assassinate.

Also known as the head of The Illuminated, he is the Chief Scholar in the city of Damascus, although his view of literature seems to have become somewhat skewered. Rather than seeking knowledge, The Illuminated hunt down and burn all books and texts within Damascus, believing that such documents are the source of evils such as the war between the Saracens and the Crusaders.
