Joseph Palmer
Joseph Palmer was a privateer and crewmate of William Kidd.
Biography
Palmer received a piece of Kidd's map containing clues to the location of his Shard of Eden. He also received a letter from Kidd, in which he confided that he was being hunted by English soldiers who he concluded did not fight on the Crown's behalf, but wore rings adorned with a red cross and were quite intent on obtaining his Shard.[1]
At some point, Palmerretired to Jamaica and his scroll ended up in Lord Lewis Hutchinson's private museum, where Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton retrieved it in 1776.[2]
