"Jacques Roux, basically the angriest priest in history."
Bishop, 2014.[src]

Jacques Roux (21 August 1752 – 10 February 1794) was a radical Roman Catholic priest during the French Revolution. He was killed by a group of Assassins including Arno Dorian in 1794.

Due to his psychotic and homicidal behavior, Roux was deemed too dangerous and unpredictable for the Templars to control. As a result, Maximilien de Robespierre had his men kidnap Roux and imprison him.

However, predicting the fall of Robespierre, the Templars decided to release Roux from captivity and rally forces to support the Reign of Terror. Knowing that the Assassins would come after him, Roux began killing guards who had come to visit him in paranoid rages.

Finally, Roux was released from prison, but before he could escape, he was assassinated by Arno Dorian.
