The Hofburg is the former imperial palace of the Habsburg dynasty in Vienna, Austria. Besides being the seat of government, the palace complex houses a number of other institutions, such as the imperial chapel, the imperial library, and the treasury.[1] The Spear of Destiny was believed to be held at the treasury until 1938, when it was reportedly seized by the Nazi regime following Austria's annexation.[2]
