Alrek was a Norse Viking from the Wolf Clan and brother to Kjotve the Cruel. Alrek married Thora, sister of Kiarr Rawbone, and during their marriage he abused her. Kiarr invited Alrek to a hunting trip and, once there, Kiarr killed and dismembered him. Afterwards, Kiarr presented Kjotve with Alrek's severed arm and fled the region, presumably with his sister in tow.^[1]
