Alonzo Batilla's mother

Alonzo Batilla's mother was a French woman from Toulon. By 1690s, she and her husband gave birth to Alonzo Batilla, who would later become an infamous pirate in the Caribbean.

During Alonzo's time as a pirate, she wrote a letter to her son, telling him about her illness and asking him to return home. Before the letter could be delivered by her friend, the letter was lost in the seas, but was eventually recovered by Alonzo.
