Biography

Born during the Renaissance, Hamid al-Jasur started his life as a skilled Moorish armorer from the town of Malaga, where he lived with his wife and daughter.

A peaceful and unbiased man, he sold his finely crafted armor to anyone interested, regardless of ethnicity or religious beliefs. This changed when the forces of the Reconquista recaptured and sacked Malaga, torturing and killing the Muslim population as punishment for its resistance, among them his wife and daughter.

Alone and distraught, Hamid fled to Granada where he joined the local assassins. He found a sense of solace in their cause and continued to use his skills to provide armor to aid in the battle against the Inquisition.
