Hagia Sophia (Ottoman Turkish: Aya Sofya, Greek: Ἁγία Σοφία, "Holy Wisdom") was a former Eastern-Orthodox basilica located in the Imperial district of the city of Constantinople that used to be called Sancta Sophia. Following the fall of Constantinople in 1453, it was converted into Hagia Sophia mosque by Mehmed II. It was also used as a library.

It has been revealed that Hagia Sophia will not be in any main mission in Assassins Creed Revelations, but in a side-mission instead.
