Hachiman Shrine

Hachiman Shrine was a small Shinto shrine dedicated to Hachiman, situated south of the Nara Heartland in Yamato, Japan.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke visited the shrine after finding Kojiro waiting there. Although skeptical, they learned from Kojiro that the bandits at the nearby Takatori Castle Ruins were part of the conspiracy they were investigating. They thus left Kojiro and went to search the ruins.[1]
